How we got here
KOKOCD began in a small workshop with a straightforward frustration: the founders, both lifelong pet owners, couldn't find a pet enclosure that met their standards. Every option compromised somewhere — noisy fans, chemical sanitizers, no temperature control, or designs so industrial they looked out of place in a modern home or boutique boarding facility.
"We wanted something that felt like it was designed with the same care we give our own spaces."
The engineering challenge was significant. Semiconductor cooling — using the Peltier effect to transfer heat without moving parts or refrigerants — had been used in niche applications for decades, but adapting it to a pet climate unit with meaningful heating and cooling capacity required careful thermal design. The result was the K01-B: a unit that maintains a stable interior temperature year-round, in complete silence, with no environmental footprint from refrigerants.
Today, KOKOCD units are found in professional boarding facilities, grooming studios, veterinary practices, and the homes of pet owners who refuse to compromise. The K01-B comes in three configurations to match every need — from the essential Standard to the networked, app-controlled Max edition that lets facility managers oversee dozens of units simultaneously.
We are proud of what we've built. And we're just getting started.
